Every Wednesday night at 9:00pm, inline skaters from around Melbourne, join together at the Melbourne Art Center in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia) and skate through the city. It's been going on for AT LEAST 13 years (that I know of) and still gets regular skaters every week.

When we last left our story, I had just arrived at the Police station...
Once there, after having another officer make jokes about me, I was informed that I was under arrest for "Being Drunk In A Public Place". Once I knew this, I asked if I could have a breath or blood test, in order to prove or disprove the accusation.

When we last left our story, I had just tried to put my head through a windscreen...
The Fire Brigade and Ambulance soon arrived and had well and truly started inspecting the back seat passengers when the Police arrived.
The Police started to question Bruce as I and another passenger (Bob) waited patiently. Another Police car soon arrived and out got a Sergent. Mistaking him for a protector, server of the people, super hero, nice all round helpful guy, I approached him...
Car Accidents are fun! (part 1 of 3)
So, I haven't posted a blog entry for quite some time now. Why? A lot of reasons. Let's start with the first one - I was involved in a car accident! Funny thing really - when I went out that night I had no idea the adventures that I was going to have. The adventure involving the Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade, a prison cell a rather loud, drunken fellow, and an umbrella.
All I have to say is, the Victorian (or at least Frankston) Police department have lost ALL respect from me, THAT'S for sure.
Positive feedback is rare
I was listening to my favourite web based audio show (The Linux Link Tech Show (tllts.org)) the other day, and they were interviewing Joe 'Zonker' Brockmeier, the editorial director for Linux.com (linux.com).
In the interview, Joe said something that got me thinking.
